The Usual

Just another day with the girls.

We made a play about witches...

drew pictures...

jumped on the trampoline sans pants (don't worry, I kept mine on)...

 ...and did some belly dancing.

All in all a good day.

Final Stop: Warsaw

 Highlights in Warsaw

- People that work at the airport, they made me laugh

- Visiting the tomb of the Unknown Soldier

- Trying dumplings and polish dogs

- All the beautiful fountains

- The coolest looking mall I have ever seen with pretty sweet shops

- The colorful houses stacked together

- Eating nasty quesadillas Deanna just had to have, and not having to pay for them

- Stumbling upon the worlds greatest cupcake shop

- Having two polish preteen girls translate the cupcake signs so we knew what we were ordering

- Having the whole row to myself on one of our flights

- The Warsaw Uprising monument

- Random colorful flying ponies outside an old building

Charming Riga

Riga was by far my favorite stop on my little trip. So much charm, and great variety in the buildings. Loved every minute of walking through this city.

Highlights in Riga

-          Being able to wander the city fully rested

-          The sun peeking out from behind the clouds by the bridge

-          Grocery shopping: getting run over by an old lady and her cart, watching people in line just move the entire checkout counter because they dropped something, and being hated by everyone in line because apparently we aren’t fast enough

-          Seeing something beautiful on pretty much every street we went down

-          Watching an awesome old lady dance to ‘Let it Be’

-          Panoramic view of the city from the top of some building, a school maybe

-          Going to the open air market and feeling like we were going to get killed and thrown in the Baltic

-          Burning myself repeatedly on the heated towel rack in our hotel. Those things get hot

-          Beautiful brick buildings and old wooden falling apart buildings
