I went to the Salt Mine just outside of Krakow, and it was pretty awesome. Not just because it has over 2,000 tunnels and it would take 2 months to walk them all, but because they made a church inside the mine! I didn't know what to expect when I went there, I had just heard it was a definite must see, so I went. Forgive the lack of high quality pictures, dark mines are not conducive for photography. Oh and please keep in mind, that everything grey in these pictures is salt- the ceiling, the floor, the walls, and also the chandeliers (although these are not grey).

Wow! And thought salt was only good for french fries. That mine is amazing!
