Roaming the Streets of Zurich

I hadn't planned on going to Zurich, as much as I wanted to there just wasn't enough time. But due to the rainy forecasts and a pressing timetable I swapped Zurich in as my last destination. It was supposed to rain that day, which it never actually did, but the constantly changing clouds provided gorgeous light and made wandering through the city breathtaking. One large church on the side of the river looked different every time I looked at it because of how much the light changed. I loved it. I was only in Zurich for half a day, which definitely is not enough. I started at the Swiss National Museum then walked down one side of the river, grabbed some food, ate dinner by the lake (all the while being stalked by swans), and then walked back up the other side of the river. It was simply lovely.
